Players become Wet when they are in water or are exposed to rain or snowfall. If the player is in a dwelling which has holes in the ceiling, they will get Wet when within two blocks of an opening. The same also applies if the opening is obscured by a hatch.
Taking cover, wearing clothing, and having a core temperature of 40 or above cures the Status Effect. The rate of drying off increases as core temperature rises.
