As of Alpha 10.4 build 10, Reinforced Secure Hard Metal Door was no longer available via the Creative Menu.
A Reinforced Secure Hard Metal Door was a door that can be locked and unlocked by the player. It was the upgraded version of a Secure Hard Metal Door and can also be upgraded further into a Double Reinforced Secure Hard Metal Door. It can not be crafted using other materials, the only ways to obtain a Reinforced Secure Hard Metal Door was through upgrading a Secure Hard Metal Door or using the Creative Menu. It was not possible to use a Reinforced Secure Hard Metal Door as a source of Combustible fuel.
Usage[ | ]
Built into a Reinforced Secure Hard Metal Door was a security function which offers the player three options in relation to the control of the Door, Pressing holding down the E key while looking at the Door will bring up three icons showing each of the three options, these are explained below.
Left Icon - This was a keypad icon and was used to set up a password for the Door, moving the cursor over the icon and releasing the E key will bring up the password input box. Using the password input box the player can type any password they like and set it by clicking the green set button, or press the red cancel button to exit the menu and cancel the password input. Once the player has set a password they will have to enter it into the Door to be able to open it, this only needs to be done the first time the player uses the Door. Any player that knows the door code will be able to open this Door.
Centre Icon - This was a doorway icon, moving the cursor over this icon and releasing the E key with either open or close the Door depending on which state it was in when the player pushed down the E button.- Right Icon - This was a padlock icon and represents the Door lock, moving the cursor over the icon and releasing the E key will toggle the Door between being either locked or unlocked. A Door that was locked without a password can only be opened by the player that locked it.

It was possible to upgrade a Reinforced Secure Hard Metal Door into a Double Reinforced Secure Hard Metal Door and you will require these items to do so.
- Wrench
- This was the tool used to perfrom the upgade.
- x2 Forged Iron
- This was the material used during the upgrade process.
Upgrade Process[ | ]
Once you have the required tool and upgrade materials you can begin the upgrade process. The Wrench was equiped and the materials are left in your bag or on your tool belt. Approach the Reinforced Secure Hard Metal Door and right click on it while holding the Wrench and an icon will appear showing the current upgrade status, the percentage shown will increase 33% each time the Wrench was used, You will need to use it 3 times on a Reinforced Secure Hard Metal Door to complete the upgrade. The upgrade materials used will not be taken from your inventory until the upgrade was complete.
