Overview [ | ] Gravel is a basic building block of the world. It can be found randomly around the the surface of the world and underground. It is also found near or around important resources like Iron Ore and Nitrate Powder . It is also extremely useful for getting out of caves and other tight spots by using the Nerd Pole Strategy . Gravel is easily destroyed and with a very low SI . Beware of this because they are prone to causing cave-ins and killing survivors.
Gravel on the ground may indicate a vein of iron, coal etc.
Digging up Gravel with a shovel will produce 8-20 Small Stones and 5-15 Crushed Sand .
