Description[ | ]

An Empty Can is used as a source of Scrap Iron. While the Empty Can can be scrapped into Scrap Iron to save inventory space, you may also smelt it directly into Iron (Forge) in the Forge. Smelting Empty Can directly instead of scrapping it will yield more Iron (Forge).

A player can obtain an Empty Can by looting or from eating Canned Food.

Usage[ | ]

Empty Cans can also be used to create Canned Murky Water. You can do this by "right-clicking", with a Empty Can selected, whilst standing in or near a water source. Canned Murky Water can then be boiled in Camp Fire to create Boiled Water. Boiled Water has a stack limit of one since there is no lid to the container and it is meant for basic survival in the wild with primitive means until a cooking pot can be obtained.

Recipes

The following recipes require Empty Can: (NOTE: Times are based on a level 1 skill and the material that an object is crafted from, which is only reliable for food at the moment, so is rather difficult to calculate, this table is auto-generated):
