A Cement Mixer is a multi-use tool that can mix not only materials for the production of Concrete Mix, but also Sand, Crushed Sand, Gravel, and Stones.

Usage[ | ]

Once placed, the Cement Mixer is ready for use. It needs no fuel source and has no input slots. However, it does have a queue, which allows one to craft multiple different items in a series.

The following recipes require Cement Mixer: (NOTE: Times are based on a level 1 skill and the material that an object is crafted from, which is only reliable for food at the moment, so is rather difficult to calculate, this table is auto-generated):

Keybinds for Objects[]

PC[]

On the PC version, to place an object into a location, first drag the item from your Inventory and drop it into your Toolbelt. While viewing the area where you will place the object, select it by pressing the numbers 1-0 to go directly to the item. Once it is highlighted a green silhouette of the item will appear, click Keyboard White Mouse Left if you want to rotate the object otherwise just click Keyboard White Mouse Right to place it. The silhouette will turn red if it cannot be placed in certain areas. After its been placed, to interact with it press E and if removing and replacing it somewhere else is desired press and hold the E key and using the Mouse to hover over the Hand Icon that says Take and release E to begin removing the object. A timer indicating how long it will take to remove it will appear. Be sure to not interact with anything during that time as doing so will cancel the removal. The item will be placed into your Inventory ready to be placed again or stored away.

Console[]

While viewing the area where you will place the object, select it by pressing XboxOne RT/PS4 R1 and XboxOne LT/PS4 L1 to scroll to the item. Once it is highlighted a green silhouette of the item will appear, press XboxOne RT/PS4 R2 if you want to rotate the object otherwise just press XboxOne LT/PS4 L2 to place it. The silhouette will turn red if it cannot be placed in certain areas. After its been placed, to interact with it press XboxOne Y or PS4 Triangle and if removing and replacing it somewhere else is desired press and hold XboxOne Y or PS4 Triangle and using the Left Analog hover over the Hand Icon that says Take and release XboxOne Y or PS4 Triangle to begin removing the object. A timer indicating how long it will take to remove it will appear. Be sure to not interact with anything during that time as doing so will cancel the removal. The item will be placed into your Inventory ready to be placed again or stored away.

Heat Map[ | ]

The Cement Mixer has a small effect on the heatmap, in comparison to a Forge or Campfire.

Notes[ | ]

  • Once placed, mixers can't be moved or disassembled, only harvested.
  • Destroyed mixers can't be repaired, only looted and harvested.
  • There is no quality level for the cement mixer
