Description[edit | edit source]
Zombie Remains appear after the body of any kind of dead human zombie decays. It can be looted and harvested. While it might also be usable for Storage, this is not recommended, as the Zombie Remains will eventually decay and disappear.
Notes[edit | edit source]
- Dead animals do not turn into Zombie Remains as an intermediate decay step. They seem to disappear (entirely) in about the same time it takes dead human zombies to disappear (entirely).
- When a dead body rolls away from where it fell (such as downhill) and then decays, the Zombie Remains appear where the body originally fell.
- If a dead body decays in a spot that already has Zombie Remains, the new Zombie Remains will immediately fall and be destroyed (with a "block hit" noise followed by a "splat").
- If you destroy Zombie Remains while they're still carrying loot, they become Eviscerated Remains. If they have no loot, they disappear.
