Description[edit | edit source]

A Wooden Club is a Melee weapon which can be found throughout the world in 7 Days to Die. It can be crafted using the correct items and is both easy to craft as well as not requiring any rare or expensive materials. It is a basic weapon and easy to find. This weapon does not require any form of Ammunition, and has moderate durability. Before being destroyed it is possible to Repair it using Wood. It cannot be dismantled, scrapped or melted in a Forge, but it can be used as a source of Combustible fuel.

Combat[edit | edit source]

During combat, a Wooden Club is a very basic short range weapon and can kill an average Zombie with four direct hits to the head or 12 hits or more to the body. It is more effective against single Zombies and will not be very effective when dealing with a group of Zombies at close quarters. It can be used more effectively against single Zombies when combined with the stealth of crouching to launch a sneak attack.

With the decreased combat potential of the Stone Axe, the Wooden Club, and its more powerful cousin, the Iron Reinforced Club, are the most effective early game melee combat weapons, before unlocking the forge.

Crafting Recipe[edit | edit source]

A player can craft a Wooden Club by searching for Wooden Club in your inventory crafting window's search bar and selecting Craft"

Repair[edit | edit source]

The condition of a Wooden Club deteriorates with each use until eventually it will be destroyed, before this happens it can be repaired. This can be done using a Wood and each one used will restore Durability.
