Description[ | ]

A Wood Frames is a craftable Building Material. It can be upgraded into Wood Blocks, Reinforced Wood Blocks, and Metal Reinforced Wood Blocks. It can also be used as a source of combustible fuel.

Block Varieties

The Wood Frames comes in a number of different varieties, each with the same durability and features. The only difference is the shape and hit boxes, which may allow you to shoot through them or walk up them. There are rare cases, when a variety has different properties, see Notes below for specific information.

Notes[ | ]

  • A Wood Frames placed by a player can be picked up again with the "E" key. This makes them great for temporary scaffolding.
  • A Wood Frames placed by the map, or downgraded from a sturdier frame, can't be picked up.
  • Great for using the Nerd Pole Strategy.
  • In Alpha 16.2 lower resource cost for basic wood building blocks was implemented.
