Range of the tools[edit source]
Instead of giving range as short, melee N/A etc. I suggest giving it in number of squares it is more accurate than "short" as short for one person means 3m for other up to 20m. If I have time today I will test it and change unless anyone has something against it? Feniks1984PL (talk) 11:33, 10 October 2013 (UTC)

- Ok I have tested some of the tools but have no idea how to edit this table so if somone could be so nice and do it for us.
Each tool was tested several times, I also tested if jumping or crouching makes any difference - it doesn't. Here are my findings. Chainsaw = 3 Fireaxe = 6 Gardening Hoe = 5 pickaxe = 5 Shovel =5 Sledgehammer = 5 wooden club = 3 re-inforced club = 3
craftable section mistakes[edit source]
Last column "craftable" isn't right.
- I figured out the problem. Each page has a
section which you can type either a lower case y or n that represent yes and no respectively. The sorting table will only accept lower case letters and somebody changed the y's and the n's to the full word, which confused the sorting table. I will go to each tool and fix the problem. — 3ShadowFox3 (talk) 21:28, 11 October 2013 (UTC)
Red Tea missing from beverages[edit source]
Grass Cutter[edit source]
I feel that the game needs to have a scythe in order to to get plant fibers. When I saw a video of a lawn mower I didn't like it and knew that it might not be in other mods or in the future of the game however I knew that a way to cut grass around your base could and should be a thing so I thought of a scythe. An iron scythe would only be a gardening tool however a steel scythe could damage zombies possibly taking out their legs. Please let me know what you think and I am sorry if this is not proper grammer. Prometheus18562 (talk) 21:50, 10 June 2018 (UTC)
- Yes, I miss the scythe too although it's not yet implemented. --— Magneto555 (talk) 01:23, 15 June 2018 (UTC)
Table templates update[edit source]
I'll need too much time to figure out how to do this by self, but the templates need a capital overhaul.
For the 1st, the "Category" item selection have to be completely reworked, to separate items on:
- Tools (Hand-Operated, Placeable, ..),
- Logistic (that would contain all power/material/item/object transfering and changing items (like Relays, Manual Switches, Vehicles, Pipes, Conveyors and so on) ),
- Production or "Factories/Generators" (includes Camp Fire and other),
- "Triggers and Traps",
And the info fields need to be much more useful and sorting oriented, for example:
Damage types are modified from a base one, by multipliers, here they are shown as numbers, purely for read easiness.
Harv = Harvesting Multiplier, DPS, Harvesting D.;
Stamina = Stamina Usage / S, Stamina Usage;
Some parameters can be ungraded by Skills or other ways, in such case the value are written as: [max] to [min] (sorting purposes);
D = DPS, Attack Damage;
