There are six types of custom storage available to the player these are:

Storage Explosives is used to organize explosive items such as TNT and Pipe Bombs, separate from other items. However, the player can place any item into it should they choose to.
Options[ | ]
When holding down the use button (default key is E) on a Storage Explosives, the player will get three options:
- Change password: Allows the player to control access to the crate using a password. A locked crate that is password protected can only be opened by people who know the combination and have entered it previously.
- Examine contents: Used by the player to open and access the contents of the crate.
