Description[edit | edit source]

A Stick is a Multipurpose crafting material and melee weapon which can be found throughout the world in 7 Days to Die. It can be crafted using the correct items and is both easy to craft as well cheap on resources, not requiring any rare or expensive materials. It does not suffer from damage and has no Durability level which means that if it is used as a weapon it will last indefinitely. It cannot be dismantled, scrapped or melted in a Forge, but it can be used as a source of Combustible fuel.

It can easily be found throughout the map by destroying dead shrubs with an axe (earns two or three sticks) or by punching green shrubs in the early game (earns one stick ).

Uses[edit | edit source]

As Cookware[edit | edit source]

It is possible to use a Stick on Campfire as a type of cookware and will allow you to cook raw meat into the charred variety.


As a Weapon[edit | edit source]

A Stick is a very basic short range weapon and can kill an average Zombie with six direct hits to the head or 17 hits or more to the body. It is more effective against a single Zombie and will not be very effective when dealing with a group of Zombies at close quarters. It can be used more effectively against a single Zombie when combined with the stealth of crouching to launch a sneak attack. As a weapon it does not require any form of Ammunition. In the latest patch of Alpha version 11 there is no attackanimation.
