Description[edit | edit source]

Snowberries are a food item which can be harvested from spiky looking bushes. As of A15 these are plentifully found on the ground in the Forest and Snowy Forest biomes. Eating Snowberries will have a positive effect on your Fullness. Snowberries can also be used as an ingredient. As with eating any snowberry product, it will increase the rate at which dehydration occurs.

Snowberry Poisoning[edit | edit source]

"Borderline edible means don't eat too much of this at once."

Eating too many Snowberries or drinking too many Snowberry Juice will give the status effect Snowberry Poisoning, which damages Health by 1 point every 20 seconds, and Wellness by 0.1 every 20 seconds. There is no countdown timer, unlike standard Food Poisoning.

There are two hidden mechanics upon eating Snowberries or any snowberry product. Eating a snowberry, drinking its juice, or consuming its extract will add 144, 720, and 1640 "snowberry count" to metabolize, respectively. Snowberry count is metabolized at a rate of -10 count every 10 seconds. If snowberry count exceeds 1040, the player will then receive Snowberry Poisoning, and will lose it once snowberry count goes below 1040. Additionally, if any Snowberries are being metabolized, the player will dehydrate twice as fast (more specifically, losing an additional 1% water every 45 seconds).

Usage[edit | edit source]

Snowberries can be used in these ways.

  • As an ingredient used to cook the following recipe.

  • They can also be eaten raw and provide instant benefit, but too many will cause Snowberry Poisoning

Recipes

The following recipes require a Snowberries: (NOTE: Times are based on a level one skill and the material that an object is crafted from, which is only reliable for food at the moment, so is rather difficult to calculate, this table is auto-generated):
