Small Stone can be picked up from the ground in many biomes, can be crafted from stone, destroyed stone, or looted after breaking a large rock.
It can be used for crafting Campfires and tools. While equipped in the tool belt it can be thrown, making it a ranged weapon. Small Stone's do not spawn on roads and only on terrain such as dirt.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • Small stones can be thrown. This does no damage to zombies, and is mainly used as a distraction since Alpha 7's stealth mechanic was added.
  • Like the Pipe Bomb the Small Stones can be charged by holding the left mouse button to increase throwing distance.
  • Before update 7.10 it was possible to craft Small Stones (previously named Small Rock) into Stone.
  • As of Alpha 11 sharp stones have been replaced with Small Stones.
