An SMG Barrel is a type of gun part in 7 Days to Die. It is used to craft an SMG. A SMG Barrel can be melted in the forge or scrapped in the crafting grid.

How To Obtain[ | ]

Looted from certain containers.
Dismantle an SMG in the crafting grid.
Creative Menu
- Spawning it in directly.
- Cast in a Forge (after spawning in an SMG Mold Schematic or SMG Barrel Mold).

Forge[ | ]

Melting[ | ]

An SMG Barrel can be placed into the forge to be melted down into iron. Each SMG Barrel will produce 2.3lbs of iron.

Forging[ | ]

Note: This process requires spawning an SMG Barrel Mold through the Creative Menu.

Dismantle[ | ]

An SMG can be dismantled by placing it into the output slot of the crafting grid, this will break the weapon down into its component state and display the parts in the main crafting grid. Simply remove the SMG Barrel and place it into your bag.

Once the SMG Barrel has been taken from the crafting grid the remaining parts will be discarded.
