Decription[edit | edit source]

An SMG-5 (submachine gun) is a type of ranged weapon in 7 Days to Die. It can be looted from Supply Crates, Shotgun Messiah Crates, Munitions Boxes, and Feral Wights. or it can also be crafted. The SMG uses 9mm bullets as Ammunition and can hold 30 cartridges. A SMG will reload automatically or it can be done manually by pressing the reload key (default key 'R').

Combat[edit | edit source]

During combat, an SMG-5 is a very effective short to medium range Weapon, eliminating most enemies within seconds due to its accuracy and high rate of fire. Currently it is one of the most effective Weapons against large groups of Zombies due to its accuracy, large magazine, high rate of fire, and quick reloading speed. It also boasts minimal recoil, making it particularly accurate when aiming down the sight.
