Description[edit | edit source]

Rotting Flesh is an item obtained by harvesting the corpses of Zombie Dog, Zombie Bear, and Zombie Vultures. It can also be found by harvesting carcasses and rotting corpses found on the ground throughout the world, and from body bags.

As of Alpha 10, it appears in the Cooking branch.

Consumption[edit | edit source]

Consuming Rotting Flesh is always a bad idea, unless you absolutely must. It is generally perceived to be a terrible food source, as it has a large chance to give the player the Food Poisoning buff. The only edible food you can make is Canned Sham. In A17, when you can also make Hobo Stew and Fort Bites using Rotting Flesh.

Usage[edit | edit source]

As of A17 Rotting Flesh is used in the recipe of Hobo Stew and Fort Bites.

In A18, Rotting Flesh is a component needed to make farm plots.

The following recipes require Rotting Flesh: (NOTE: Times are based on a level one skill and the material that an object is crafted from, which is only reliable for food at the moment, so is rather difficult to calculate, this table is auto-generated):
