Description[edit | edit source]

A Pipe Bomb is a throwable explosive weapon good for damaging groups of Zombies.

Combat[edit | edit source]

A Pipe Bomb is used by first lighting its fuse with the right mouse button. The Pipe Bomb is then thrown using the left mouse button. Holding the left mouse button will increase the velocity of the projectile once thrown by releasing the mouse button.

The fuse lasts for about 5 seconds, so any Pipe Bombs that are lit but not thrown will result in an explosion in the player's hands at the end of the 5 seconds, usually resulting in death. Pipe Bombs have a blast radius of 4 blocks both horizontally and vertically.

Pipe Bombs can be thrown without first lighting the fuse. When thrown in this manner, they will land on the ground. They can be picked up by using the action button. They can be damaged by other explosions, with a 30% chance of triggering the Pipe Bomb if damaged by such an explosion.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • A Pipe Bomb can be used as a method of triggering TNT and Oil Barrels for mining, by making use of the pipe bombs throw and fuse functions, so that the player does not have to put themselves at risk by attempting to shoot other explosives in a tight space.
