Description[ | ]

Oak Seed often drop from Oak Trees when chopped down, in addition to being found in loot containers at various locations. Furthermore, it is possible to plant Blue Spruce Seeds and cultivate new Oak Trees. Used in this fashion the player is able to nurture Oak Trees in preparation for harvest, providing a renewable, possibly even sustainable, source of Wood and additional Blue Spruce Seeds. Planted  Oak Trees grow considerably faster than other Oak Trees.

Planting[ | ]

Oak Seeds can be sown on any soil based ground block that is devoid of Tall Grass, Small Stones or any other form of interference preventing placement. Upon planting the seed in the ground a small sapling will appear marking the beginning of the new tree's life and is the very first stage of its growth. A virgin sapling doesn't require damp soil to prosper and a water source nearby is unnecessary. Oak Seeds cannot be planted within 3 blocks distance of other trees.
