Description[edit | edit source]
The Nailgun is currently the best tool used for construction. It has the highest repair value, allowing for fast repairs of brick, metal, concrete and steel blocks, as well as various traps and devices. Additionally, it can shoot Nails, holding 10 in a single "clip". It will automatically reload, if the player has the correct Ammunition or it can be done manually at any time using the reload key (default key R). Nails can be found or can be produced in a Forge.
Required Items[edit | edit source]
Uses[edit | edit source]
The Nailgun can be a tool or a weapon. Its main function is to upgrade buildings very quickly. When used as a tool to upgrade buildings, the Nailgun does not consume Nails. However, Nails are required to use it as a weapon. Despite being usable against entities, its low entity damage means it should only be used as a last resort or for challenges, since its damage is far weaker than many ranged weapons.
Repair[edit | edit source]
The condition of a Nailgun deteriorates with each use of the primary action (attack) until eventually it will stop working and will need to be repaired. This can be done using a Repair Kit.
Notes[edit | edit source]
- You can't use the secondary action (default: right-click) to aim with the Nailgun like with any other ranged weapon, since this button is used for the upgrade/repair function.
