Overview[edit | edit source]

The Munitions Box is a very sought-after storage container that usually contains high value loot such as the Sniper Rifle, the SMG, or the Rocket Launcher. They are typically found around Army Recon Campsites, Army Barracks' and also in the Police Station at the north end of Highway 73 and in caves. Munitions Boxes have also been located in apartment buildings on Random Generated Worlds. They may contain several firearms and ammo. A Munitions Box cannot be crafted by the player in normal gameplay. Additionally, if salvaged with a wrench a munitions box can provide forged steel.

A Munitions Box will contain a random selection of Ammunition and Weapons taken from the following list:

The list below contains the items and tools that may spawn inside a Munitions Box.

All probabilities are modified by the players level. So the chance of finding anything in a container is less the 1 in 4 at the beginning if the container has 1 as the minimum number. If the minimum number is less than one, the chances are even less. Containers that have 1 or more should always drop something once you reach level 151.

Loot Groups[edit source]

These are the Loot Groups that are included in a Loot Container. The chance of an item appearing in any of these groups has been scaled based on the chance of that group appearing in the parent group. A group can also appear more than once if it has been included subsequently by another group, the chances in this case will then reflect all the parent chances. The quality of the items returned will be defined by the loot container quality levels unless it has been specifically defined for the group, in which case it will be listed beside the group.

Random Gen[edit | edit source]

Both Army Recon Camps and Army Barracks are currently available in Alpha 15.2 b8 Random Gen with Munitions Boxes. As such they are currently found in a few locations:

  • Police Stations - Usually on the second floor and behind Iron Bars.
  • Apartment building - On the last floor.
  • Army Barracks - Found in the building on the left side from the entrance.
  • Army Recon Camps - Same location as Navezgane camps, in the tent with the metal office desk and chair
