The Lead Fishing Weight is a good source of Scrap Lead. While the Lead Fishing Weight can be directly scrapped into Scrap Lead, you may also smelt it directly into Lead (Forge) in the Forge. Smelting Lead Fishing Weight directly instead of scrapping it will yield more Lead (Forge).

To save space on inventory slots while looting, a player might want to scrap Lead Fishing Weight into Scrap Lead. This collates it into one big pile of Scrap Lead saving inventory space.
