Description[edit | edit source]

Lead is a crafting component which can be scavenged from various locations in 7 Days to Die, through Scrapping lead based items, or obtained through Mining. Mining can be the best way to gather Lead if veins can be found. Lead can be smelted in a Forge to cast Bullet Tips. A single piece of Lead weighs 1.0 lb.

Crafting[edit | edit source]

Lead can be extracted from a Forge prior to moving the forge at no loss of materials.

Lead Sources[edit | edit source]

The table below show items that can be scrapped to craft Lead and the weight of each item.

  • Some time before Alpha 17.2 It was possible to scrap Lead itself back into Lead but obviously this is pointless.
  • note it is also possible to get lead by scrapping or forging lead car batteries
