Exploding Crossbow Bolts are an Ammunition type. As stated on the Crossbow page the bolt takes time to travel from the crossbow to its target and gravity does not affect the bolt. It is a great ammo type beside bullets, dealing the best crossbow damage possible (as much as steel crossbow bolts) as well as some splash damage to surrounding enemies. The explosion caused by the bolt also damage blocks in a small area. They can be crafted using the items shown in the crafting menu below.
