Dukes Casino Tokens are in-game currency used in transactions with Vending Machines and Traders. A player can obtain a Dukes Casino Token by Looting, especially from Cash Registers in businesses, or by selling Old Cash or other valuable items to Traders. A good way to get Dukes Casino Tokens is by selling the unused items gathered by looting at the Traders.

Trading[edit | edit source]

The Duke's Casino Coins are used to buy items from Traders at settlements. They can be collected by Looting or by selling items to the NPC Traders. The amount of tokens needed or received from trading depends on the Barter skill. Many items, including clothes, brass doorknobs and lead trophies, sell for more tokens than the components received from scrapping them would sell for. For example a Brass Trophy has a base price of 40 tokens but the 15 Brass (Forge) received from scrapping it has a base price of 7.5 tokens (0.5 each piece).

A decent way to get tokens quickly is to sell duplicates of clothes, anything lead or brass and items you have an abundance of. Crafting armor to sell does not seem to be a good strategy, at least at the lower levels, as most armor requires Duct Tape which sells well on it's own already. The higher the quality of armor does affect its sell price without affecting it's base price so this may be different late game

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • As of Alpha 16 Dukes Casino Tokens can no longer be scrapped into Scrap Brass.
  • The front of the Tokens seems to be engraved with the picture of the Duke of Navezgane.
