Death occurs in 7 Days to Die when your Health reaches zero. You will re-spawn after dying, and if you have placed a bed, you will have an optional choice to select to spawn on your bed or near it. Upon death you will lose your items determined by the option set when the map was loaded.
- "Everything" will result in you dropping everything.
- "Tool-belt only" will result in you dropping items in your tool-belt.
- "Backpack only" will result in your dropping all your items in your backpack.
- "Delete All" will result in all items from your backpack and tool-belt to be removed from the game completely.
A backpack will be placed on the spot where you died. It contains the items mentioned above (unless deleted), and a blue backpack marker will be visible on the map and compass.
