Overview[ | ]

Concrete Mix is an intermediate crafting material that is used in the creation and repair of Concrete Blocks. Concrete Blocks are one of the toughest building materials that players have access to. Concrete Mix is created in the Cement Mixer and can occasionally purchased from a Trader in reasonable quantities. Cement is the slowest prerequisite ingredient to craft, but can be harvested from Pallets with blue cement bags using a shovel.

Building large and durable structures out of concrete will take quite a bit of Concrete Mix. Provided the additional Heat is manageable, and players have the resources, it is recommended to produce an abundance of Concrete Mix for construction and repair purposes.

Small Stones can be gathered fairly quickly once players have an Iron Pickaxe and a point or two in Miner 69er, and Crushed Sand can be rapidly crafted in the Cement Mixer or gathered from the Desert. Cement however either needs to be harvested from pallets, or smelted from Stone in a Forge which is unfortunately rather slow. Having a Forge or three constantly running to produce cement is recommended for large concrete building projects.

Usage[ | ]

Concrete Mix is used in conjunction with an Upgrade Tool to upgrade Cobblestone Blocks into Concrete Blocks, or to craft Concrete Shapes directly. Concrete Mix is also used to repair Concrete Block as well as Asphalt.
