Description[edit | edit source]
Business Glass Blocks are a very weak, forgeable building material. They can be used as a window, but like all window panes, it acts like a piece of furniture, letting the rain and smells through. The Business Glass Blocks sits on the edge of the block, providing a smooth surface on one side. A better option for windows is the Shower Glass Block which acts like a solid block and is easier to see through.
The Business Glass Blocks comes in a number of different varieties, each with the same durability and features. The only difference is the shape and hit boxes, which may allow you to shoot through them or walk up them. There are rare cases, when a variety has different properties, see Notes below for specific information.
|Business Glass Block [BVL 1]||No||No||Yes|
|Business Glass Plate||Yes||No||Yes|
|Business Glass Plate Centered [BVL 2]||Yes||No||Yes|
|Business Glass Curved Plate||No||No||Yes|
|Business Glass Sheet [BVL 2]||No||No||Yes|
- Acts as a solid block, blocking out the rain and smells(?).
- Can be upgraded with wooden plugs
Note[edit | edit source]
- Business Glass Blocks drops Broken Glass upon destruction.
- The Business Glass Plate Centered & Business Glass Sheet can be crafted and used as traps. They can also be upgraded with wood to prevent falling when walking over them.
Crafting[edit | edit source]
Business Glass Blocks must be crafted in the Forge
To do so however, the required items below must already be smelted.
Required Items[edit | edit source]
The following recipes require a Business Glass Pane: (NOTE: Times are based on a level one skill and the material that an object is crafted from, which is only reliable for food at the moment, so is rather difficult to calculate, this table is auto-generated):
|TV||Electrical Parts *4, Electronic Components *8, Business Glass Pane *1, Scrap Plastics *8||Workbench||-||40||-||-|
|TV Large, Left||Electrical Parts *4, Electronic Components *8, Business Glass Pane *1, Scrap Plastics *8||Workbench||-||40||-||-|
|TV Large, Right||Electrical Parts *4, Electronic Components *8, Business Glass Pane *1, Scrap Plastics *8||Workbench||-||40||-||-|
Sources of Glass[edit | edit source]
A single Business Glass Blocks requires the amount of glass ingredients to be smelted.
Any of these ingredients can be placed into the forge and will smelt into Business Glass Blocks(s).
Upgrading[edit | edit source]
The window panes, not the blocks and curved versions, can be reinforced with materials using any construction tool.
|Glass type||Opacity||Craftable||Broken glass|
|Business Glass Block||1|
|Business Glass Centered||1|
|Business Glass Pane||1|
|Industrial Glass Centered||1|
|Industrial Glass 2 Centered||1|
|Opaque Business Glass||8||No|
|Shower Glass Block||1||Yes||2 - 4|
- The light levels have a range of 0 to 15, 0 being completely dark and 15 having access to full sunlight.
- A block with a light opacity of 1 will reduce the amount of light that the blocks below it receive by 1.
