Overview[edit | edit source]

A Bullet Casing is a forged ammo part that is used in the crafting of Ammunition. Bullet Casings can also be scrapped for Scrap Brass or melted in a Forge. Although there are different calibers of bullet for most guns, a Bullet Casing is universal and is used in nearly all bullet recipes.

How to Obtain[edit | edit source]

There are three (3) ways to obtain a Bullet Casing:

  1. Loot - Bullet Casings can be found on zombie corpses and containers such as trash cans and garbage piles.
  2. Dismantle - Any bullet can be dismantled by placing it into the output slot of the crafting grid, this will break the bullet down into its component state. Select the Bullet Casing and move it to an inventory slot. (OLD INFO)
  3. Forging - Bullet Casings can be obtained by casting them in a Forge.

Recipes

The following recipes require a Bullet Casing: (NOTE: Times are based on a level one skill and the material that an object is crafted from, which is only reliable for food at the moment, so is rather difficult to calculate, this table is auto-generated):

Casting[edit | edit source]

Place scrap brass into an input slot of the forge to smelt brass. One unit of scrap brass is smelted into 5 units of brass, which can then be used to craft Bullet Casings.

Scrapping[edit | edit source]

It is possible to scrap Bullet Casings, producing Scrap Brass.
